Bush Pressured Maliki on Troop Withdrawal

Despite repeatedly stating that US troop withdrawal in Iraq will be dictated by the military commanders on the ground, it appears as though Bush pressured Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to set the timetable for troop withdrawal in a way that would benefit John McCain and the GOP. ThinkProgress has the whole story but if this is true -- well, it would be nice to be able to ask some questions.
