To his credit, McCain has started to correct his supporters when they evoke images of a dangerous, terrorist-loving Obama presidency. He looks so defeated when he has to take the microphone away from a woman who calls Obama an Arab (about 6 minutes in).
Did anyone else notice that when the woman calls Obama an Arab, McCain says, no, he is not. He is a decent, family man....
Soooo, what does that make Arabs??

Arabs are terrorists. Duh.
I went round and round about this with my friends this weekend. The consensus, based on the David Foster Wallace profile of McCain, is that these people are plants. So McCain can look like a "hero" by taking the microphone away and saying, "No, no, no."
