Lies Now Talking Points

Remember on Friday when John McCain said that Sarah Palin never requested earmarks as governor of Alaska? That lie seems to be a new GOP talking point.

On Sunday campaign spokeswoman Carly Fiorina had the following exchange:

FIORINA: Sarah Palin as governor stood up and said, I know earmarks are corrupting. We must ask for less of them–

STEPHANOPOLOUS: But she still requested them.

FIORINA: As governor she did not.

Then she repeated the lie about Palin stopping the bridge to nowhere. At some point the MSM is going to have to start connecting the dots -- you know, do their job -- and write the narrative of the McCain campaign as one founded on lie-based attacks on Obama and lie-based support of Palin. There is no room for truth. If there were they'd be losing.
